Chartwell Independent Insurance adds ‘excess and surplus’ team
Chartwell Independent Insurance Brokers LLC, a wholesale and specialty insurance broker in Scottsdale, has added an excess and surplus casualty division.
The Chartwell E&S Casualty Division will consist of Senior Vice President Colin Rice and Vice President Chad Krumbach and an account support team. The team will have national reach, but local focus in the West and Southwest offering general liability, product liability, professional liability, miscellaneous errors and omissions and well as other casualty coverages.
“The addition of Chartwell’s casualty team and the expansion of our Arizona office reflect our rapid growth and ongoing commitment to meet market demands,” said Bill Hildebrand, executive vice president and director of programs and proprietary products at Chartwell Independent Insurance Brokers, in a release Thursday.
The company focuses on high-risk, hard-to-place coverage.
